About individual sessions
Individual Skype sessions are a great way to deepen and explore your practice through dialogue and an environment of contemplative listening.
The first session usually involves getting to know your interests and aspirations with regard to practice, and also your particular strengths and inclinations in terms of technique and approach. A number of themes usually emerge from that process. I can then offer some perspectives and practices for you to take into your daily life and sitting meditation at home.
The direction of inquiry and practice tends to unfold organically after that – in relation to your disposition, needs and life-situation. That way it stays relevant and connected, with the aim of developing skills in awareness and meditation that will gradually become your own.
