Peter has been living a life of meditation and contemplation for twenty years. After seven years as a Thai Forest monk, Peter took his practice into everyday life in the city of Wellington, New Zealand. Peter offers teaching and 1-1 sessions to anyone interested in living a life of compassion, insight and peace.
Peter is interested in supporting people in practicing with physical illness and has written a book on this topic, Finding Freedom in Illness, which was published by Shambhala in 2016.

Peter has studied with a number of teachers in both monastic and secular settings, from the Thai Forest tradition as well as the Insight Meditation Tradition.
